Privacy Policy

Effective September 12, 2026

This Policy explains how Life That Is Yours (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through LifeThatIsYours.com, The Life You Build Journal, The Village, VIP, and related services.

Information we collect

Depending on what you choose to use, we collect:

  • your purchaser or account email and authentication or account identifiers;
  • purchase and subscription records, amounts, currency, tax, billing status, paid-through dates, and payment-processor customer, checkout, payment, or subscription identifiers;
  • optional profile details you provide, such as display name, avatar, city or region, About information, what you are building, interests, skills or ways you can help, website or social links, and birthday month and day without a birth year;
  • optional Near Me settings, including a generalized city or region and whether you choose to be visible;
  • content you intentionally provide, including community posts, comments, reactions, reports, and meeting-related submissions;
  • support communications and the information you include in them;
  • your newsletter email, consent, and subscription status if you opt in; and
  • limited first-party operational and analytics information, such as page and funnel events, a random browsing-session identifier, referrer domain, campaign or UTM information when present, and security or abuse-prevention signals. For rate limiting, the system stores a salted, truncated one-way hash derived from the request IP address rather than intentionally storing the raw IP address for that feature.

What the Journal does not collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store answers or reflections merely because you write them in the downloaded Journal PDF. The platform has no response fields or database for completed Journal answers.

Location and Near Me

Near Me is optional, available only inside the member area, and off until a member chooses to use it. It uses only a member-supplied generalized city or region and a visibility setting. The feature is not designed to collect or display a street address, precise GPS coordinates, or real-time geolocation. A member can turn Near Me off, and generalized location does not verify identity, safety, or residence.

Payment information

Stripe or another payment processor handles payment-card details. We receive transaction and subscription metadata needed to fulfill purchases and manage billing, but we do not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes. The processor handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use information

We use information to deliver purchases; authenticate accounts; provide and enforce Journal, The Village, and VIP access; operate community, profile, Near Me, meeting, replay, resource, and messaging features; process billing and subscriptions; send transactional account and access messages; answer support requests; moderate content; protect security and prevent abuse; understand first-party service and funnel performance; improve the Services; keep required transaction and business records; and comply with legal obligations. We use an email for newsletters or other marketing only with consent.

How information is shared

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate a chosen feature, process payments, provide hosting, database and authentication services, deliver email, support video meetings or messaging, obtain operational services, protect security and legal rights, comply with law or valid process, complete a lawful corporate transaction, or follow your consent or direction. Providers receive only information reasonably needed for their role and may process it under their own terms.

Life That Is Yours does not sell personal information for monetary consideration as part of its business model. Our first-party analytics are not designed for cross-site behavioral advertising or device fingerprinting, and we do not use the information we collect for third-party behavioral advertising. If those practices change, we will update this Policy and honor applicable notice and opt-out rights before doing so. We do not control how independent third-party sites or services handle information you give them directly.

What other members and administrators may see

Content you intentionally post may be visible to authorized members according to the relevant community tier and feature. Optional profile fields are visible according to your profile choice and applicable feature rules. Near Me information appears to authorized members only when you opt in, keep your profile visible, and remain eligible for the feature. Ordinary members are not intentionally shown your private authentication, billing, payment, or administrative information. Authorized administrators may access operational information when reasonably necessary for support, moderation, security, billing operations, and service administration.

Retention

We retain information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and meet transaction, accounting, tax, legal, security, fraud-prevention, moderation, and dispute obligations. Timing varies by the information and purpose, and limited copies may remain in backups or logs for a period. Deleting an account, profile, community item, or optional setting does not necessarily erase transaction records or other information we are legally or operationally required to retain. Where appropriate, content may instead be removed from ordinary member view while a limited record is retained for safety, dispute, or legal purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and server-side authorization for private areas. No online service or storage system can guarantee perfect security. Please protect your password and private access links and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your choices and privacy rights

You can update optional profile information and visibility through your account, turn Near Me off, and unsubscribe from marketing messages. Transactional purchase, billing, account, and security messages may still be sent when needed to provide the Services.

You may email support@lifethatisyours.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to exercise another privacy right available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required. Do not email passwords, full card numbers, card security codes, or other sensitive credentials.

Nevada residents may use that same email address to submit requests available under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, including any applicable request concerning review or correction of covered information and any applicable right to opt out of a covered sale. We currently do not sell covered information as part of our business model. Rights and exceptions apply as provided by applicable law; this Policy does not promise a right where the law does not provide one.

Children

The Services are for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children. If you believe a minor submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

United States operation and third-party services

The Services are operated from the United States. If you use them from elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and in locations where our necessary providers operate, subject to applicable law. Links and integrated third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, and security controls.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will communicate material changes in a reasonable way and update the effective date. Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it.
