Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LifeThatIsYours.com and the products and services offered by Life That Is Yours (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, subscribing, creating an account, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Educational and personal-development services

Our Services include The Life You Build Journal, community spaces, meetings, resources, and related personal-development tools. They are educational and informational only. They are not medical or mental-health care, therapy, counseling, crisis support, legal or financial advice, or any other licensed professional service. We do not diagnose or treat conditions, and we do not guarantee healing, income, relationships, personal change, or any other outcome. Seek an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service when needed.

Age and account security

You must be at least 18 to use the Services. Give accurate information, keep your password and access links confidential, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent reasonably within your control.

The Life You Build Journal

The Journal is an 84-page digital-only PDF currently sold for $19.99 plus applicable taxes. A purchase gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use it. You may not resell, sublicense, publicly post or redistribute it, reproduce substantial portions for distribution, or commercially exploit it, including in coaching, teaching, or client work, without written permission. Buying the Journal makes you eligible to join The Village; it does not require you to join or pay for a membership.

The Village membership

The Village is optional and available to eligible Journal purchasers for $99 per month plus applicable taxes. It renews monthly until canceled. We do not promise a particular level of participation, activity, content, relationships, or compatibility among members.

VIP

VIP is available only to active The Village members, subject to a cap of 25 active members and available capacity. It costs $399 per month total plus applicable taxes. The Village is included in that total and the separate $99 membership is replaced while VIP is active; we do not intend to charge both subscriptions for the same active period. Availability, individualized attention, and results are not guaranteed.

Recurring billing and cancellation

By starting The Village or VIP, you authorize the stated monthly charge and applicable taxes to your payment method each billing period until cancellation. You may cancel through your account without a phone call. Cancellation stops future renewals and access ordinarily continues through the period already paid for. Canceling VIP also ends its included The Village access at the VIP paid-through date; an eligible customer may then separately rejoin The Village. Refunds and billing corrections are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Expectations and subjective experience

We make good-faith efforts to provide thoughtful, functional, and valuable Services. Personal development, aesthetics, usefulness, perceived value, interpersonal compatibility, community experience, and expectations are subjective. A Service not matching a personal preference or expectation does not, by itself, establish a defect or misrepresentation. This section does not limit statutory rights or remedies.

Community conduct

We welcome honest discussion, including about difficult parts of life, and ask members to choose growth over gossip. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, discriminate, defraud, impersonate, disclose private information or dox someone, organize targeted retaliation, diagnose others as an amateur, engage in illegal conduct, circumvent security, scrape the Services, or use abusive or deceptive solicitation. The more detailed Community Guidelines apply to member participation.

Member content

You keep ownership of content you create. When you intentionally share content through a Service, you give us a limited, nonexclusive license to host, store, format, reproduce, and display it only as reasonably needed to operate and provide that Service. This does not publicly license private account, billing, authentication, or administrative information. You represent that you have the rights needed to share your content.

Moderation and other members

We may reasonably review, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content, and suspend or terminate access, when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, meet legal obligations, maintain security, or operate the Services. We are not required to mediate every disagreement.

We do not guarantee another member's identity, honesty, reliability, compatibility, statements, or actions. Decide carefully what to disclose and how to interact. We are not a party to independent transactions, relationships, or disputes between members.

Near Me

Near Me is optional and uses only a member-supplied generalized city or region. It is not intended to collect or display a street address, GPS coordinates, or real-time location. A generalized location does not verify identity, safety, or residence.

Meetings, features, and outside services

Meetings, resources, schedules, and features may reasonably change, be rescheduled, replaced, or discontinued. A temporary outage or change to one feature is not automatically a failure of the entire membership. We may use payment processors, hosting and authentication infrastructure, email providers, and video-meeting or messaging platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply, and our responsibility for their independent acts is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

Accessibility

We make reasonable accessibility and usability efforts, while recognizing that technology and assistive needs vary and perfect compatibility cannot be promised. This does not waive or limit accessibility rights. Report a problem to support@lifethatisyours.com; we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and provide an alternative or reasonable solution. Availability, warranties, and responsibility

We use reasonable efforts to keep the Services available and secure, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You remain responsible for voluntary decisions, disclosures, purchases, and interactions. This is not intended to release Life That Is Yours from liability that applicable law prohibits us from disclaiming.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life That Is Yours will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or legally excludable lost profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data. Where lawful, our aggregate monetary liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount actually paid to us for the particular product or service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event, or (b) $100. Nothing here limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or waived.

Intellectual property and misuse

Except for member-owned content, the Services and their text, design, software, branding, and materials are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. Do not breach, probe, interfere with, reverse engineer where prohibited, scrape, automate abusive access, or circumvent security or access controls. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, nonpayment, or operational or legal necessity, subject to applicable law and paid-through rights.

Changes

We may change future Services, features, and pricing prospectively. We may also update these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes and seek affirmative consent where legally required. Changes do not retroactively alter terms governing a completed purchase.

Governing law

Nevada law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any nonwaivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, courts located in Nevada will be the venue for disputes. Nothing here waives a consumer's nonwaivable forum or statutory rights.

General terms

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a lawful reorganization, sale, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law. These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement about the Services.
